Rowing Nationals in St. Catharine's - End of Racing Friday
Unofficial results are have come in from day one of the rowing nationals ("Schoolboys" for the old timers!):
Senior women's 4+ finish second in their heat. Ended up with second fastest time in the competition and advance to the semis tomorrow.
Senior men's lwt 4+ won their heat easily to advance to semis tomorrow.
Senior men's 4+, second in their heat and advance to the semis tomorrow.
Junior girls 4+ won their heat and advance to the semis tomorrow.
Senior men's lwt 1X , second in his heat and advance to the semis tomorrow.
Senior men's lwt pair second in their heat and advance to the semis tomorrow.
Senior women's lwt four, 3rd in their heat and will not advance to the semis tomorrow.

Canadian / Shawnigan results from this morning’s racing at the World Cup in Lucerne, Switzerland are now in:
- Kip McDaniel ‘00 in the men’s 4- finished third and moves into the semi-finals tomorrow.
- Jon Beare (husband of Shawnigan's Head Coach and teacher Danielle Beare) in the lwt men’s 4- finished third and moves into the semi-finals tomorrow.
- Kyle Hamilton (husband of Shawnigan coach and assistant House Director Erica Hamilton) in the men’s 8+ won their heat with the fastest time of the day, by several seconds, to move straight into the final on Sunday. Apparently they put a scare into the competition as they spoke about in the Toronto Star.
