Ryan Panton '97 | Alumni Relations

 Ryan Panton '97 (Lake's) brings his youthful enthusiasm and passion for all things Shawnigan to the Advancement Office in his new role in Alumni Relations. After completing his studies at SLS, Ryan continued his education at UBC and then BCIT. He then entered into Sales at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the world's largest seller of new and used industrial equipment. Through all of the curveballs that life has thrown at him, however, Shawnigan remained at the forefont of his thoughts, and when the opportunity to return to the island presented itself, he leapt at it. He and his fiancée Marita, a Registered Nurse, are settling into life above the Read Crewhouse, as Ryan begins to carve his niche working with Shawnigan's young alumni to ensure the connection they feel with the school upon graduation is cultivated and enriched as they progress in their lives.
