Annual Calgary Gathering

On Tuesday, January 27th, Shawnigan hosted its annual reception in Calgary, AB. The 70 kilometre per hour winds in the area did not deter the over fifty alumni, current, past, and prospective parents from turning up at the Glencoe Club for a couple of hours of "Shawnigan Cheer." Headmaster David Robertson delivered a rousing "State of the Union" address which was followed by a slideshow of photos narrated by Director of Advancement Stephen Housser '67. It was particularly encouraging to see the number of young faces that turned out to attend what, for many of them, was their first Shawnigan social function. We hope to see them back next year and for many more to come! Ryan Panton '97
