Shawnigan places 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Monster Erg

Monster Erg—This past weekend, the rowers kicked off their racing season with a trip to Victoria to face the challenge at Monster Erg. Our senior boys, Alex T, Alex M and Lachlan M crushed the competition with 1st 2nd and 3rd. The senior girls have a smaller team this year but that did not hold them back with 6 girls in the top 15. Most of the juniors are novice but you would not have known that as they raced with aggression and confidence proving to be a strong team this year. Claire O. and Jordan B. cracked the top ten, an impressive result for these two novices.
