Harvard Grabs Two

Congratulations to Alex and Lachlan Macintosh ‘09 who have just received acceptance to Harvard University. They were members of last year’s winning SLS crew at the Henley Royal Regatta, Alex is currently Head of School and Lachlan is Captain of Rowing. They will join their team mate Alex Housser ‘08, last year’s Captain of Rowing, who is currently in first year at Harvard.

In congratulating the boys, Kip McDaniel ‘00 himself a Harvard rower, pointed out the common denominator of Shawnigan-Harvard men in recent years is that they’re rowers and they’re all from Shawnigan Lake.
