Walter C. Koerner Library
In the heart of the main building is the Library, which is the reading and research center of our School. Here, students come to investigate resources for assignments, access online databases, study quietly, do group work, or pursue recreational reading interests. Our library is filled with the latest exciting books, both in fiction and non-fiction; as well, we have four Kindle e-book readers and are developing a collection of e-books. In addition to curricular support, we pursue excellence in formal academic writing by teaching proper essay formatting, citation, annotated bibliographies, and evaluation of sources. It is wonderfully gratifying to give students the opportunity to discover new adventures they might never have found on their own. The Library is also a lovely place to sit and read a book, magazine, or newspaper, especially when the fire is lit!
