Squash – Canadian Junior Open

This prestigious junior tournament was held in Montreal from December 12 -15. There were over 250 players from the following countries: Canada, USA, UK, Antigua, Bermuda, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Columbia, Ecuador, Egypt, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Trinidad.

Shawnigan was proud to be represented by Christien Q. who had a very good tournament and was an excellent ambassador for the School. In the extremely tough and competitive Boys’ U19 division, Christien elevated the level of his game and made it through to the round of 16. Here he lost to a worthy opponent from Singapore, and then proceeded to play some good matches in the consolation round. Well done, Christien!
