Our Goals

The Gift of Shawnigan

At Shawnigan we are blessed with outstanding facilities, a committed faculty and an outstanding group of students. Despite this, the need for financial support exists as much today as it ever has.

• Most of our excellent facilities were provided by private donations.
• Fees cover only some 80% of the cost of a Shawnigan Education – the final 20% that represents the margin of excellence in our programs comes through annual giving.
• More than 25% of Shawnigan's students receive some financial aid while they are here.

Shawnigan aims to have a diverse student body representative of Canadian and worldwide populations. Our ultimate goal is to see that financial need is not a barrier to the admission process.
