Meet the Team

Welcome to the Shawnigan Lake School Advancement Office. Our office deals with alumni affairs and events, special School events, the publication of The Report Card, and fund raising.

The aims of the Advancement Office are to promote a greater understanding of Shawnigan, to keep members of the "Shawnigan Family" informed about School affairs, and to encourage and help those who wish to make a gift to Shawnigan.

After graduating from Shawnigan, Steve went to the University of British Columbia where he earned an Arts degree. He worked his way through university by logging and salmon seining in the summers like a true West Coaster. Click here to read more about Steve Housser.

Recently, "Hutch" reflected on his own very positive experience as a boarding student at Upper Canada College in Ontario, which in part inspired him to work at Shawnigan.
