Notes from Finals

  • The senior boys 8 had a last minute medical substitution and did their best, but were unable to compete with some very fast crews. A West coast sweep of the medals was nice to see. Congrats to Saint George's, Van College, and Brentwood.
  • Annabel rowed a strong race and placed 4th in the single. Way to go, Annabel- you inspired us all!
  • The Sr girls 4+ took home a well-deserved bronze. Great race, girls!
  • Anna raced one hour after her gold-medal winning quad race and ended up 5th in the junior single. A gutsy effort from a tired athlete.
  • The sr boys 4+ finished 4th. They were .03 out of 2nd, and .02 out of 3rd. The umpires took 2 minutes to look at the photo of the finish. A very close finish for the boys.
