Canucks Autism Network

Blue and Green!
Mrs. Smith spoke about her very personal experiences with autism in Chapel on Tuesday morning. In a moving address, she recounted the impact it has had on her family, and also about the help and support they receive from the Canucks Autism Network (CAN). The CAN provides year-round programs for individuals living with autism and their families, while at the same time building awareness about the condition. A student from the Prep School then introduced an initiative in support of CAN using funds raised from their weekly pizza nights, and asked the community to wear blue and green on Wednesday to help the cause.

Shawnigan is a proud partner of the Canucks Autism Network, and hosts a camp each summer for children with autism and their families. To learn more about the CAN, please visit http://www.canucksautism.ca
