SLS Varsity Hockey: Idaho
Undefeated in Idaho!
Our first game of the weekend was against Edge School for Athletes. With his first shutout of the year, Merek P was in net for our 5-0 victory. The goals were scored by Kyle B, Devin W, Triston L. The MVP of the game was Seth P.
Our second game of the weekend was against Banff Academy. With the help of Gavin Y, Dominik F, Devin W, Seth P, and Noah C the team defeated Banff and started preparing for the toughest game of the weekend against Compete. With Cael H in net, the team won with a goal from Triston L to tie the game and Dominik F to win late in overtime.
Our last game was again against Edge. The first period ended with a score of 3-1. The second period was a closer battle that ended at 4-2. During the third period neither team could score. We had a disallowed goal midway through the third and couldn’t capitalize after. With one minute left Edge scored to bring them within one. Even with Edge’s goalie pulled we were able to hold on for the last minute of the game to continue our undefeated streak.
