Alberta Jesters Junior Squash Tournament
This past weekend, 10 squash players travelled to Calgary to participate in the Alberta Jesters Tournament at the Calgary Winter Club. There were some outstanding results for Shawnigan who dominated at a tournament which attracts the top players in Canada. Thanks go to Mike Johnson and Vicky Lust for coaching the team and pushing them to give of their best. The players and coaches really appreciated the wonderful support of the parents who attended the tournament.

Special mention should be made of Rhys B. and Justin M. who both played very well and gained valuable experience in the Boys U15 Event. Bransten M. was unstoppable as he showed his athletic talent and finesse to overcome some tough opposition and take the U19 Championship. Likewise, Ryan P's racquet skills were a force to be reckoned with as he took the U17 title.

Notable results were as follows:

Girls' U17 3rd Place: Zoe C.

Girls' U19 Runner-up: Nour E.

Boys' U19 Consolation Winner: Matthew T.

Boys' U17 Champion: Ryan P.

Boys' U19 Champion: Bransten M.
