Terry Fox Run 2014

One dream: a world without cancer
After a cloudy morning, the sun made an appearance to kick start our annual Terry Fox Run. With the sun shining, a grade 11 student from Renfrew House led the School in a beautiful rendition of "O Canada." Students and staff wore red and white to honour Canadian hero, Terry Fox. A Copeman's Grade 12 student was selected to wear the traditional Terry Fox Run T-Shirt and lead the run. The Terry Fox Run T-Shirt is passed from runner to runner until it has crossed the finish line. Adding a new element to the run, Grade 11 volunteers sprayed runners with refreshing bursts of water as they crossed the finish line.
