My Schedule

Conner - Grade 11

His knowledge and passion of the subject is felt by all and creates inspiration to be equally involved.

I love starting the day with Human Performance, a class in which I go to the gym to work-out with all the huge rugby players. Being there, listening to old radio hits, working hard, and having a chance to catch up with friends is a great way to wake up.

After break I’ll walk to Physics class with Ron who also has physics during G block. I usually sit with Nicola and Weeble, which is nice because Physics isn’t my strongest subject so they’re there to help me if I’m lost.

French is made very interesting by my teacher M. Receveaux. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with half as many stories to tell as him. He tells us of his days selling fruit in Paris, bull fights he’s witnessed, race cars he’s driven. He’s very French and therefore loves to talk about food, which sometimes isn’t what I want to hear when I’m hungry before lunch.

I finish the day with my favourite subject, Chemistry. The teacher’s name is Mr. Mayes and we became familiar with each other at the beginning of the year because we have both lived in a small corner of the province called the Kootenays. His knowledge and passion for the subject is felt by all and creates inspiration to be equally involved. Ending the day with this class is good because if I have any pressing questions I can stay into tutorial to discuss them with him.

Me and my friend Greg then prepare ourselves for cross-country running. Although we may not always be particularly enthused about running, we usually find that it’s a nice way to let off steam after a long day of academics.
