Known for her ready smile and friendly laughter, Heidi Brewer was born in Australia and raised in Calgary. She works as a lab assistant in the Shaw Centre for Science and is the Health-Centre Secretary.

Heidi attended college, traveled, and worked with autistic children for eight years before finding this position by chance.

Outside of Shawnigan, she enjoys hiking, reading and entertaining (her three dogs), and when she gets bored of that life she’s only a ten-minute ride away from this one: Heidi has fallen in love with both the School and its students.

Heidi has two children with her husband Ken. Their daughter Michelle attends Malaspina University-College and son Jake is at nearby Francis Kelsey School.
