Barre None Dance Night
Barre None Dancers have concluded their season with captivating shows for capacity crowds.
Around 150 dancers of all ages and skill levels presented three sold-out shows this weekend in Shawnigan's Hugh Wilkinson Theatre.
Roughly 50 of these performers came from Shawnigan's fine art and sport electives while others came from community classes, exemplifying the school's symbiotic relationship with the Barre None studio.
The 90-minute shows included 30 numbers in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theatre.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful region, and we aspire to healthy and respectful relationships with those who have lived on and cared for these lands for millennia.
