Pulling together

Inter-House Tug o' War
Last weekend, students had a chance to revisit a much-loved, and missed, Shawnigan institution. Inter-House events, which have been on pause since the beginning of the pandemic, kicked off again with Inter-House Tug o' War.

The Inter-House event took place at Canada Field under glorious sunny skies. The expansive grassy location allowed different Houses to spread out within their cohort groups and maintain physical distance while offering a great view of the athletic action.

Renfrew House took first place among the girls’ Houses, with Duxbury stepping out in front of the boys’ Houses.

Shawnigan Lake School is adhering to all COVID-19 guidelines released by the BC Ministries of Health and Education, including those regarding learning cohorts, physical distancing and mask-wearing when appropriate.
