New Students Arrive
Opening Day Agenda
New Students will arrive on Tuesday September 8th, 2026 between 9am and 12pm for Opening Day.
Returning Grade 9 students (Grad Class of ’30) who were in Samuel House are to arrive on September 8th and settle into their new boarding houses as they transition from Grade 8.
New students in Grade 9-12 will be notified of their boarding house and Faculty Advisor approximately one week prior to Opening Day. Students entering Grade 8 are automatically placed in Samuel House.Family Welcome and Check-In
Main Building- Welcome Package: Receive your package from the Admissions Team
- Family Photo: Visit the Schieldrop Amphitheatre for a photo hosted by the Advancement Team.
- Health Clinic: Meet with the Health Clinic Team at the Quad if needed. International students will register for Health Insurance at the Quad (please bring a hard copy of your Study Permit & Passport).
- Move-In: Head to your assigned boarding house to meet the House Staff and move into your room.
- Faculty Advisor: Connect with your child’s Faculty Advisor, who supports students in parallel with the House Team.
- Optional Stops: Meet with Finance, IT, or Transportation teams, or visit the Commissary and Used Uniform Store.
