Night of Dance
An inspiring evening of performance
Some of Shawnigan's most talented dancers lit up the Hugh Wilkinson Theatre stage, on Friday.
An annual event, the Shawnigan Night of Dance included solo and group numbers from dance performance classes, after school fine arts, and the Barre None Dance Company.
Dance styles included Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Bollywood, and Contemporary, with most pieces choreographed by Mrs. Kelli McLeod and a few created by the students themselves.
With a lively audience packed with parents and peers, the show offered an energetic and absorbing evening on campus.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful region, and we aspire to healthy and respectful relationships with those who have lived on and cared for these lands for millennia.
