With delicate brush strokes and a mighty heave, another year of Inter-house competition is drawing to a close.
On Tuesday, students gathered on the Canada Field for the final sports day of the year and the ever-popular Inter-house Tug-O-War event. After opening with a spellbinding come-from-behind win over Strathcona, Groves' House won the girls competition. On the boys side, Lake's powered to a key victory.
Last week, the Inter-house Visual Arts Competition adorned the Shaw Centre for Science, with some impressive entries from all houses. After deliberation by a roster of illustrious judges (Ms. Allen, Mrs. Pollock, Mr. Pienaar, Chef McClellan) Strathcona was awarded first place overall, while Lonsdale's was named the top boys house.
With only academics remaining to count, competition remains too close to call heading into Closing Week.
