On Tuesday, the group hiked up local Old Baldy Mountain. Old Baldy’s summit rises 458 m above sea level and has stunning 360-degree views of Shawnigan Lake, the Koksilah River watershed, Sidney, Salt Spring Island and some southern Gulf Islands.
The action continued later in the day, with students practicing their dance moves with performance arts teacher Mrs. McLeod, learning about electricity with science teacher Mr. Fehr, and enjoying another beautiful round of golf at Arbutus Ridge Golf Club.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful region, and we aspire to healthy and respectful relationships with those who have lived on and cared for these lands for millennia.
