Founder’s Day Alumni Reunion
October 25-26, 2019
Shawnigan looks forward to welcoming alumni, board members, former staff, and guests back to campus for our annual Founder's Day reunion!
More than 400 alumni and guests have already signed up for a weekend of reuniting with classmates and staff, and touring the campus.
This year the School is celebrating a milestone – thirty years of co-education at Shawnigan. We are excited to connect with all the classes attending.
Highlights include a Friday evening co-ed alumni ice hockey game, chapel, a special ceremony and lunch for those celebrating their 50th reunion, boarding house tours, a special dinner, and a Performing Arts show featuring our current student talents.
New this year is an alumni feedback session, designed to inform the School on how we prepared alumni for life after Shawnigan.
We are encouraging all alumni to bring their families along for the weekend. Student volunteers will run a Kids Camp with dinner and a movie, to follow a fun day of activities.
On Saturday afternoon, guests can choose from a variety of events, including an art class with Mr. Rolston, a “live” experience at the recording studio, a class with Mr. Connolly, a robotics demo, and more.
