Grade 11 Roundtable in Action!

Over the four day break for Easter, the Grade 11 Roundtable organized different activities, all taking place on campus. On Saturday, April 3, Roundtable members and other Grade 11 students helped organize an Easter egg hunt in the Quad for staff kids aged 1-10. Later that day, the Roundtable and several Grade 11 volunteers hosted a bumper-ball activity at the turf. These bumper-balls, or “Zorbs,” were large plastic bubbles, allowing students who signed up to play various games in groups up at the fields.
On Easter Sunday, a few Roundtable members hid hundreds of Easter chocolates around the Quad for Shawnigan students to collect throughout the day. This weekend allowed Grade 11 students who are not members of the Roundtable to participate in leadership opportunities as School Prefect selection approaches.

Though Easter break looked different this year due to COVID-19, the students did their best to make the weekend as enjoyable and festive as possible for all who were on campus.
