Inter-house Fine Art

Artistic affray

The final arts event of the Inter-house calendar brought colour and creativity to a classroom block.

The 2017 Inter-house fine arts competition wrapped up this weekend, after a week-long display in the Shaw Centre for Science.

Featuring contributions from seniors and juniors in each House, the exhibition included woodworking, painting and sketches, robots, textiles and sewing, pottery and photography.

In announcing the winners, Ms. Vikki Agate also made special mention of an entry by Grade 9 Owen B., whose homemade video game involved woodworking, design and computer programming.

After judging by a panel of three illustrious staff members, Strathcona was named the winning entry, with Groves' in second and Renfrew in third.
