Vancouver trip

A midterm excursion

On the heels of Ski Week, a small contingent of Shawnigan students has continued to explore Western Canada.

With the majority of the School enjoying a short leave weekend, 12 students remained in Vancouver for a brief tour of the city, Feb. 9-12.

Led by Mr. Stephen Watson, the group took tours of Stanley Park, the Capilano Suspension Bridge and the UBC Museum of Anthropology, as well as enjoying some shopping time in the downtown core.

Shawnigan's midterm trips offer a welcome break for students looking to enjoy some culture and activities in the local area. Other recent trips have included excursions to Banff and Tofino.
