Ryan P. medals on the national stage
Ryan P. has added another medal to his season's impressive tally.
Shawnigan's squash standout placed third in the under-17 event at this weekend's Canadian Junior Championships.
It's been a strong season for Ryan, highlighted by a first-place showing at the BC Junior Championships in March.
This weekend in Toronto, Ryan beat his first three opponents in three straight games before falling to the eventual champion, Akasham Rajagopaul, in five tight games. He then coasted through the third-place game to earn his podium finish.
Shawnigan's other entry, Nico V., made it to the second round of the under-19 consolation draw before a defeat ended his run.
