A time-honoured tradition, Shawnigan faculty joined the members of the Class of 2015 and their families at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler over the weekend for the annual Grad Banquet and Ball. After toasts to the Queen and the Parents by this year's Head of School, Nina H., her mother took the stage and delivered an eloquent address that served as a thank you to the School for the impact it has made on the lives of every graduating student in the room. We were once again treated to an address by orator extraordinaire Jay Connolly, musical performances by a handful of our most talented grade 12s and a slideshow of the graduates assembled and presented by Jeff Kluge. Students, staff and guests then enjoyed the balance of the evening, dancing the night away to hits from The Timebenders.
