At its core, this challenge is a big, bold goal to add $30M to our scholarship endowment by the year 2030. Since Shawnigan first opened its doors, we’ve believed that a student's potential should never be limited by their family’s financial situation. We want the brightest, most motivated, and most talented students to be here, enriching our classrooms and our community, with their unique perspectives.

As Board Chair Jacqueline Flett reflects, this isn't just about the next few years – it’s about the next century. This initiative will create positive ripple effects that reach far beyond our campus, benefiting families, communities, and beyond. And we have unanimous support from our Board of Governors as part of our Project Future 2.0 strategic plan. At Shawnigan, we believe it's about all of us. By building a welcoming, inclusive environment where we learn from one another, we truly live out our purpose: inspiring the best in each to create the best for all.

Our goal is to increase the Foundation endowment to $60M. This will ensure that as the world changes and costs rise, our doors will remain wide open for the next generation of Shawnigan students and scholars – forever.
