The Grade 9 experience at Shawnigan encourages students to be curious in all endeavours as they discover where their passions lie and navigate the challenges that come from learning and supporting peers.Academic Excellence: Our on-site salmon hatchery and Living Lab, along with curricula-led OuterEDGE programming, help our Grade 9 students discover a strong sense of place and connection with the culture and wilderness of Vancouver Island.
Co-curricular Distinction: Curiosity and courage are piqued by experiences ranging from winter camping during Ski Week, outdoor journey-based adventures, and student-led passion projects.
