Biology 11

Microecosystems
As part of a unit of study on ecology, the Biology 11 students spent time investigating microecosystems in the woods surrounding the Shaw Centre. Rotting logs are home to many different species of fungi, plants and animals. Students collected samples of logs in various stages of decay and brought them back to the classroom to take a closer look using dissecting microscopes.
