More than 70 Shawnigan rugby players are spending their Spring Breaks honing their rugby skills in preparation for the upcoming season.
JUNIOR TOUR - SCOTLAND & ENGLAND
The Colt A's played well in their first game on Saturday, losing to George Watson's 15-0 and 15-5 to Glasgow High. Both were 25 minute games, with the break down area proving to be the Shawnigan sides' undoing. The Shawnigan coaches were proud of how the boys played. Next up, Peebles on Tuesday.
SENIOR TOUR - NEW ZEALAND & AUSTRALIA
A great start to the tour at Takapuna Grammar. 2nds won 35-10, and the 1st XV followed up with a 41-12 win. This was followed by a great coaching session with legendary coach Sir Graham Henry. What an experience!
