Kids Christmas Party

Staff kids get a visit from Santa

On Sunday, this year's Shawnigan Staff Children's Christmas Party was held for more than 50 staff children.  As they waited for Santa to arrive, the children were all kept busy by decorating gingerbread, making crafts, playing games and jumping in the bouncy castle.

At last, Santa and his elves walked through the door, prompting sounds of joy and excitement from the youngsters. After settling down, Santa called each child's name and gave them each a bag of goodies. The children enjoyed talking to Santa, and left the day happy and full from a day of fun.

Special thanks to Mrs. Lynn Robertson, her volunteers, and the kitchen staff who organized a festive event that will be remembered by both the children and their parents.
