Evergreen Junior Squash Open

Tournament play in Vancouver

With some athletes playing their first-ever tournament, the Shawnigan Squash Team invaded Vancouver this weekend for the Evergreen Junior Open.

Coach Mike Johnson says the weekend was a "resounding success," paying particular tribute to Rhys B. and Justin M., who took their game to a whole new level as Rhys beat Justin to claim gold in the Boys Silver division.

In other action, Colin W. earned a victory that is still reverberating around Lonsdale's House when he beat his older brother Byron to reach (and eventually win) the final of the Boys Bronze bracket.
