Shawnigan crews took to the choppy waters of Mill Bay this past weekend at the 47th annual Brentwood College Regatta.
Windy conditions meant that no races ran on Friday and the regatta format shifted to timed finals. By midday Saturday, all of the Friday races had been completed and after a brief weather delay in the afternoon, racing resumed.
All Shawnigan groups achieved positive results highlighted by a second-place finish for the Junior Girls 63kg 8+ and a golden finish for the Junior Girls 4+!
The focus for the crew is now preparing for the Shawnigan Lake Regatta, May 12, 13, and 14.
