Grade 12 students have made their case, and a literary verdict has been reached.
A group of senior English students engaged in a 'battle of the books' this week, as each one defended a novel of their choosing as "The Quintessential Grade 12 Book."
After arguing in front of their peers and a panel esteemed judges, the following winners were announced after lunch on Thursday, just in time for the upcoming summer vacation.
Runners-up:

Sean H – The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.
Kate E – The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls.
Winner:
