We were overjoyed to formally open the beautiful Schieldrop Amphitheatre in the Kaye Gardens with a wonderful ceremony on June 19, 2025. We were fortunate to have the entire student body in attendance for the festivities, with several of them performing on the unique stage on Kaye’s Pond. Thank you to David Schieldrop ’82 (Groves’), an alum and member of the Board of Governors, for his generosity that made this outstanding feature of our campus possible.
Starting in early 2025, work was undertaken to enhance and enlarge the amphitheatre in the Kaye Gardens and to ensure the continued health of the pond.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful region, and we aspire to healthy and respectful relationships with those who have lived on and cared for these lands for millennia.
