Selection Camp
Shawnigan was honoured to host some special guests in Chapel on Thursday morning, as members from Rugby Canada's Senior Womens' program were in attendance. 38 of the top players in the western Canada are spending the week on campus as part of a selection camp that will assist coaches in picking a roster for the international season this summer. Among the many hopefuls are staff member Laura Russell, and alumna Jules Goss '10. After receiving a warm welcome from the school community, the players joined staff and students in a rousing rendition of O' Canada before heading out for another long day of training. At least Mother Nature is cooperating, as the campus is once again bathed in sunshine!
