Fire Safety
Putting out fires!
As part of the North American Occupational Safety and Health week (NAOSH) Shawnigan staff upgraded their safety skills by learning the proper techniques for using a fire extinguisher. The Shawnigan Lake Fire Department was on campus on Wednesday, May 13 to instruct staff and demonstrate the proper use of fire extinguishers using the PASS technique (Pin, Aim, Squeeze the trigger, Sweep the nozzle).
