Girls earn a trophy in Duncan
The grade 8 girls played a round-robin tournament in Duncan on Friday.
The girls' closest contest was an intense matchup against a Brentwood team that included some very skilled grade 10's. After losing the first set, Shawnigan was able to climb back and win two straight, thanks to solid teamwork and communication. The win gave the squad a 4-0 record, earning the girls a championship trophy to present to the Headmaster on Tuesday!
