Shawnigan athletes go deep

Shawnigan colours featured prominently at the 2015 Canadian Junior Squash Open.

In one of the best weeks of her squash career, Nour E. fought all the way to the girls U-17 final before losing a marathon matchup against Ontario's Nicole K.  Nour beat the top-seeded player (Hannah B) in her semifinal to ensure she would bring home a medal from the tournament.

Ryan P. provided an exciting upset in his U-17 boys quarter-final match, reaching the semifinals before losing to the top-seeded player. Ryan then dropped his bronze-medal match 3-1.

Alumnus Matthew Toth ’15, meanwhile, won a gold medal in the boys U-19 consolation bracket.
