Senior Girls Basketball
Early-season competition
The Senior Girls Basketball Team is improving with every game.
The first two weekends of December had the team participating in the ISA Championships and the DCS 'Welcome Back Tournament.' The early-season tournaments were just what the group needed to learn some of offensive and defensive sets.
This past Tuesday was the team's first league game of the season – it was against our rivals, Brentwood, who we lost to the past weekend. Playing with girls who were a little sick and banged up, the team performed well throughout the game despite losing in the end.
Standout performers so far this season include Gaby M, Kelsey M, Emily V, Erin F, and Amica P.
