The Western Canada College ID Camp
Soccer balls bounced across the Canada Field this week, as Shawnigan played host to the Western Canada College ID Camp.
30 coaches from Canadian and American post-secondary soccer programs led five days of drills, games and classroom sessions, as young players developed skills and knowledge that will help them move to the next level in their careers.
The roughly 130 players from across North America (and as far away as Germany) stayed in four Shawnigan residences as they looked to improve their game and catch the eye of collegiate recruiters.
The Western Canada College ID Camp is operated by EPIC Sport Management in partnership with Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
