A practicing lawyer speaks to Law 12
On Friday afternoon when most Shawnigan students were jumping into their well-deserved weekend, 35 eager Law 12 students were treated to an engaging and thought-provoking presentation from Paul Ceyssens, parent of Callum C. ’17.
Paul gave students a hands-on taste of the Criminal Code of Canada, reinforced the importance of the Rule of Law, and offered some sage wisdom on public speaking in a courtroom – which coincided nicely with the upcoming criminal law mock trials.
