SPA supports Shawnigan

Contributions to School programs

Shawnigan Lake School has been fortunate to receive more support from the Shawnigan Parents Association.

Several SPA Board Members made a presentation to School staff this week, in which they announced $12,000 in funding.

That money will go towards new drytop suits for the Search and Rescue program, a sound system for the new gym, equipment for the baking fine art, a new branded tent for School events, graphic novels and nonfiction works for the library, and a new pickleball net.

The SPA raises funds through direct donations, but primarily through the annual used uniform sale, organized by parent volunteers.
