Business leader speaks in Chapel
Renowned business leader, author and public speaker Kevin Roberts visited Shawnigan Monday to speak about his background, cultural change and leadership.
Speaking in chapel, the former Saatchi & Saatchi CEO gave the engaged audience his keys to success and tips on leading a happy, successful life.
Touching on a world that's "volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous," Roberts spoke about the potential that young people today have to affect change. "Ideas are the currency of your generation," Roberts said, urging Shawnigan students to articulate and share their personal purpose.
Roberts even outlined his simple equation for life: "IQ + EQ + TQ + BQ, all powered by CQ." He broke this equation down into four quotients (Intelligence, Emotion, Technology and Creativity – all done "bloody quick!").
