3rd Annual Ladies Tea
Tea, treats and good company
Shawinigan parents, staff and alumni gathered in Mitchell Hall for the 3rd Annual Ladies Tea on Wednesday.
While enjoying delicacies made by the Shawinigan kitchen staff, Shawnigan's women started the event by singing "Happy Birthday" to Lynn Robertson and Gaynor Samuel who recently celebrated milestone birthdays.
Kathryn Shaw, Board Member and current parent was also present to make an announcement about Elizabeth House – a new girls residence scheduled to open in 2018.
This announcement brought a response of warm and grateful applause for the generosity of the Shaw family.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play.
