Rugby at St. George's

Facing a familiar foe

This past Saturday, the Term 3 rugby boys all travelled over to Vancouver to face our great rivals at St. George's School.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature was not in a good mood.  The weather was less than ideal with strong winds and heavy rain which made it difficult for all the teams to play an expansive running game.

In the end, Shawnigan managed the conditions better and came out on top with wins in the Colt A, 2nd XV and 1st XV matches.  The Colt B side played a great game which ended in a draw.  All the games were played in great spirit and with great skill.

Shawnigan would like to thank St. George's for hosting and wish them the best of luck in the rest of their season.
