Five year dinner
A feast five years in the making
A long journey came to a symbolic end, as the Headmaster hosted a five-year dinner on Monday.
24 students who joined Shawnigan in Grade 8, in September of 2012, enjoyed a fancy meal hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Robertson and lovingly prepared by the Shawnigan catering department.
As well as the wonderful supper, the students enjoyed speeches from their advisors, laughed throughout a slideshow chronicling their time at the School, and received their exclusive five year pins.
We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful region, and we aspire to healthy and respectful relationships with those who have lived on and cared for these lands for millennia.
