Saturday Chapel

Listening
The Chaplain's message on Saturday was all about active and intentional listening: "Don't listen passively. When we listen for what is really being said by friends, our friendships become richer. When we listen for the learning, wisdom and knowledge that our teachers and mentors are communicating to us, we become wiser. When we listen for the beauty of the sounds of nature, or the passion in a beautifully sung ballad, that beauty somehow becomes part of us."

We listened to four different Houses sing their House hymns, and also listened to a student who has discovered a new style of singing. Please click on the link below to share our chapel service and to hear a beautiful rendition of "Summertime."

We acknowledge with respect the Coast Salish Peoples on whose traditional lands and waterways we live, learn and play. We are grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful region, and we aspire to healthy and respectful relationships with those who have lived on and cared for these lands for millennia.
